Advisory Board of the Public Archives
The board advises the Provincial Archivist on the general direction of the Public Archives. This includes reviewing major initiatives, program plans, policies and priorities. Recommendations are made to public bodies and the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage. This supports the development and improvement of Nova Scotia’s Public Archives. The board also establishes policies for the management of funds received by the Public Archives outside of its provincially funded operating budget.
